3. Philadelphia Eagles

Don’t look now, but the Philadelphia Eagles are showing new life after a thrilling win on the road against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field last week.

Even more exciting for the Eagles, the one positive factor over playing on Thursday night means that Philadelphia should benefit from a few extra days rest before Sunday’s game at home against the New York Jets.

Between the few extra days of rest on top of seeing how the two teams compare on paper, this should be an easy win for Philadelphia to help keep things close in the NFC East race with the Dallas Cowboys.

But also, the Jets are coming off their bye week, meaning the rest factor may not matter as much to the Eagles since New York will be fortunate enough to have even more time off.

To say things have been rough so far for the Jets in 2019 would be a huge understatement since this seemed like it would finally be ready to make the leap in the AFC as a playoff contender, only to still be in search of their first win in 2019.

Defeating the Eagles in front of their own fans will be far from easy, but also the Jets could be feeling that extra motivation to finally earn their first victory.
