1. Calvin RIdley

After starting off the first two games of the 2019 regular season with a pair of solid showings for the Falcons, the Calvin Ridley has struggled in the last two contests for Atlanta on the outside of the field.

Ridley, who is coming off of a nice rookie campaign a year ago while being a nice option to counter fellow wideout Julio Jones on the other side of the field, managed to finish with just 32 yards receiving on three catches and six targets for the Falcons in their Week 4 defeat at home against the Tennessee Titans.

In a game where Atlanta was able to tally nearly 400 yards passing through the air, it was surprising to see Ridley haul in just 32 yards within the Falcons offense. What is perhaps more surprising is the fact that he has now made it a trend of below-average performances two games in a row entering the fifth week of the season.

In the first two games of the season, Ridley combined for a total of 169 yards on 12 catches, also recording two receiving touchdowns. The last two weeks, however, Ridley has combined for just 38 yards on four catches and has been held out of the endzone in those two games.

On the year, Ridley has recorded a total of 207 yards on 16 catches in four contests. With two receiving touchdowns, he is averaging 12.9 yards per receptions so far in 2019.

In order for the Falcons to bounce back and end their two-game losing streak while taking on a tough Houston squad in its home stadium, Atlanta is going to need Ridley to have a bounce-back performance and return to form in Week 5 to steal a road win and get the season back on track before it’s too late.
