4. Jordan Love, QB, Utah State

Love is something that Jordan Love didn’t always get in mainstream media when it comes to draft buzz. Of course, that’s difficult when you’re playing for Utah State, a team that doesn’t get any national love. However, he’s starting to get a ton of hype in 2019 and that could all be on display when the Aggies take on the LSU Tigers in Week 6.

Love will face off against another prospect on the rise, LSU’s Joe Burrow. Many expect this game to be a blowout and it will be with Burrow likely putting up insane numbers. Nevertheless, even without gaudy numbers, Love can shine.

Yes, he possesses all the physical tools teams look for in a quarterback. He’s tall and athletic with legit arm talent. He can make all the throws and excels vertically. When facing the zone, he picks it apart almost as well as he escapes pressure. However, the game against LSU is about more than that.

All Love has to do is prove he can play within the game. If he protects the ball and plays mistake-free football, he’ll see his stock rise. At 6-4, 225 pounds with great athleticism and rocket arm, Love resembles Colin Kapernick.

With a couple of great throws against a great LSU defense, the Love hype train can bore full-steam ahead as he solidifies himself as the No. 3 quarterback in the 2020 NFL Draft class.
