NFL Week 5: Ranking the best games to watch on Sunday

5. Giants vs. Vikings
A few weeks ago, this meeting between the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings most likely wouldn’t even have come close to making a list like this. But with the Giants finding new life with Daniel Jones under center along with the Vikings on the verge of desperation mode, this Week 5 meeting between these two NFC teams all of a sudden has new meaning.

If anything, Minnesota faces even more pressure than New York since the Vikings were expected to be a top contender in the NFC after missing out on the playoffs last year, only to start off the year 2-2.
Even if the Vikings still have plenty of time to turn things around before it’s too late, the last thing Minnesota can afford to do is fall too far behind in the standings, and could be in for another long afternoon when trying to contain Jones.
New York took plenty of heat a few weeks ago over the way they handled the Eli Manning situation by replacing the two-time Super Bowl MVP with a rookie quarterback in Jones, but no one seems to be questioning the move anymore.
Thanks to Jones, there’s actually some excitement surrounding the Giants, and could even make things in the NFC a little more interesting if they find a way to pull off another win over the Vikings.
