4. Allison steps up with Adams out

Full disclosure, I don’t feel good about the Green Bay Packers offense with Davante Adams not on the field. While there are high hopes for players like Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Jimmy Graham, who showed up last week, the consistency has not been there for these players. Having said that, veteran wideout Geronimo Allison will step up and have a big day.

Given the inconsistency of guys like MVS and Graham, Rodgers is going to be looking for reliability when he drops back to throw. His best bet in that regard is Allison, a player he’s both familiar with and that has stepped up as recently as last week late against Philadelphia. Thus, Allison will be the Packers leading receiver on Sunday and have a nice game with the No. 1 sidelined.

3. Secondary picks off Dak at least once

While I expect the Cowboys to attack the Packers run defense on Sunday, they have to get back into the passing game in a big way in Week 5. In the loss to New Orleans, Kellen Moore got away from play-action, which had been a fantastic wrinkle in their offense through the first three weeks. However, attacking this Packers secondary is going to be a tough task for Dallas, even with well-designed plays.

Jaire Alexander has established himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL already and Kevin King is ready to play this week. Meanwhile, Adrian Amos and Darnell Savage have both played well in 2019 as well. I don’t expect Prescott to necessarily be unable to throw but the Packers will force him into at least one mistake, picking the Cowboys quarterback off at least once on Sunday.
