4. Williams also returns, puts up 120+ yards

The Kansas City Chiefs have been without Damien Williams for the past two weeks after he suffered an injury midway through their Week 2 victory. The Chiefs have been just fine without him as LeSean McCoy and Darrel Williams have stepped in and carried the load. After practicing fully all week, though, it looks as if Damien Williams is slated to return.

It’s worth noting that, prior to the injury, Williams had not been an effective runner. He notched 22 carries and went for just 34 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Having said that, he did have nine catches for 87 yards in those two games, so he wasn’t just useless when he’s out there. When it comes to the matchup with the Colts, though, you have to be salivating.

First off, you can run on the Colts, a team that has been giving up a hair over 132 rushing yards per game this season. Moreover, they’ll be playing on Sunday Night Football without their best linebacker, Darius Leonard. And if that wasn’t enough, when Williams and the Chiefs saw the Colts in the Divisional Round last year, the running back went wild.

In that playoff game, Williams rushed 25 times for 129 yards and a touchdown while also adding five catches for 25 yards. He was unstoppable in that matchup and that should be the recipe again, especially with McCoy now a little banged up. Williams will go off again and return with a bang, accruing at least 120 total yards.
