14. Baltimore Ravens (13)

After a hot start to the season, the Baltimore Ravens have really cooled off. They won their first two games easily but then dropped one to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3. There’s no shame at all in that as the Chiefs are clearly one of the better teams in the league. They then lost another in Week 4 as the Cleveland Browns found their footing against their divisional foe.

Then in Week 5, they were facing another divisional rival and found themselves in an unexpected dogfight. The Pittsburgh Steelers, who are without Ben Roethlisberger, have just one win on the season but played the Ravens well enough to get the game sent to overtime.

Part of the reason Pittsburgh stayed in the game was the play of quarterback Lamar Jackson, who threw for just 161 yards and had three interceptions on the day. It was his worst game of the season and the Ravens have to hope this doesn’t mean anything more than it just being a bad game.

Jackson, who was an MVP-caliber player to start the season, started to come back down to earth. They were fortunate to get the win in Week 5 and because of that, they’re still in the AFC North race. They just have to clean up the turnovers.
