Atlanta Falcons (1-4) at Arizona Cardinals (1-3-1)

Sunday, October 13, 4:05PM ET

If there was ever an opportunity for the Falcons to get it together this season, it’s this matchup with the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6. They’ve looked like a cupcake at times this year, but it’s not too late to pull their heads out and start winning games.

We know they have the talent. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones are one of the best passing duos in the business, and Devonta Freeman can be a rockstar runner when healthy. The Atlanta defense has been hobbled by injuries, but they’ve still got enough playmaking ability to earn Ws.

As for Cardinals, the 2019 campaign has been a slow burn. Amidst a torrential downpour of changes, they’ve suffered an astounding amount of growing pains. Some will think they’ve hit their stride after winning their first game of the Kliff Kingsbury-Kyler Murray era in Week 5, but I think the credit goes to an inferior opponent.

In Week 6, the Cardinals will face a foe that won’t roll over and die like the Bengals did. The Falcons will come to town hungry for a win, and won’t quit fighting until its theirs. Dan Quinn keeps the wolves at bay one more week as Atlanta improves to 2-4.

Prediction: Falcons win 37-20
