New York Giants (2-3) at New England Patriots (5-0)
Thursday, October 10, 8:20PM ET
It’s not to say the Daniel Jones hype needs to stop, but I’m glad the train has slowed a bit after the New York Giants took a tumble against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5. Things are going to get any easier this upcoming week against the New England Patriots.

Sporting an elite defense and the GOAT under center, the Patriots should have little trouble dispatching the Giants in Week 6. They’ve got the defensive tools to put the clamps on Jones and whoever happens to start at running back. On top of that, the New York defense will likely have no answer to Tom Brady and the Patriots offense.
Not long ago, this was an iconic matchup between two of the NFL’s more storied franchises. Now, however, with the massive amount of turnover the Giants have undergone in recent years, it’s looking like this could be one worth skipping over on Sunday.
New York will put up a fight for, let’s say, the first half. Jones maybe gets an early touchdown to make Giants fans believe their favorite team has a stop at pulling off the upset. By the time the third quarter is in the books, though, the Patriots will be cruising to their sixth win of the season.
Prediction: Patriots win 34-13
