3. Michael Thomas has another big game against Jacksonville

To say that we’d been waiting for Michael Thomas to have a monster game would be an understatement. As good as the $100 million man is, we had yet to truly see him reach his final form this season. Thankfully in Week 5, Thomas finally made his presence known and had a huge game against the Buccaneers.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Looking at his stats, Thomas finished the game with 11 receptions for 182 yards and two touchdowns. It was a huge game for Thomas as we hadn’t really seen the Saints using him to his full potential. Thankfully, his connection with Bridgewater has seemed to solidify which is great news for both parties. He absolutely torched the Bucs defense and I fully expect him to do the same against the Jags.

Personally, I don’t believe that Thomas will put up as large numbers but I do think that he’ll finish the game with at least a touchdown and over 150 receiving yards. For Thomas, that’s a typical day but it’s mostly going to depend on Bridgewater. If last week is any indication though, we have nothing to worry about with those two.

Of course, the Jags defense is hyped but they let Christian McCaffrey run all over them last week. Considering how much they let McCaffrey get away with, it’s only fair to assume that Thomas will get similar treatment.
