All the possible tanking you can handle, the Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins face off in Week 6. Bold predictions for the Tua Bowl.

If you wanted to go see the Washington Redskins play the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday in Week 6, you could get into the stadium for less than the cost of a good large pizza. That’s what happens when you have two teams with a combined zero wins facing off in a given week. Even still, this is a fascinating matchup, even if not for the right reasons.

In the case of the Dolphins, this team wants to be at 0-4. They tore down their roster to the studs and hope to rebuild, starting with likely 2020 No. 1 pick Tua Tagovailoa. Contrarily, the Redskins didn’t mean to start 0-5 and fire Jay Gruden but here they are, in that position and also in contention for the No. 1 pick.

Whether you call it tanking or not, this is undoubtedly the Tua Bowl on Sunday in Miami. So with sadistic intrigue all around the matchup, here are five bold predictions for the Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins in Week 6.

5. McLaurin gets on track with second 100-yard game

Rookie wide receiver Terry McLaurin started the season hot for the Redskins, having a 125-yard outing in Week 1 and scoring in each of the first three weeks. However, his high yardage total in the last three games is just 70 and he’s coming off his worst game of the year. Against an awful Dolphins secondary, though, the Ohio State product will have a day, going for his second 100-yard day of the year and catching at least one touchdown.

4. Rosen throws two touchdown passes — but three INTs

The sneaky truth is that, with all of the circumstances that he’s been forced to deal with this season, Dolphins quarterback Josh Rosen has looked good. The second-year signal-caller’s stats don’t back that up but it’s hard for them too with the hardship he’s forced to deal with. He’ll increase his touchdown total by 200 percent on Sunday, though, throwing for two against Washington. Unfortunately, the pressure he’ll be under will also force him into throwing three picks.

3. Drake makes some noise

Kenyan Drake has been quite lackluster this season, though that’s not all his fault given that he’s behind one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. He’s managed only 113 yards on 31 carries while having 107 receiving yards on 13 catches with no scores. That changes on Sunday. He’ll get one of Rosen’s two passing touchdowns on the day but will also rack up at least 120 total yards in Week 6, something he’s not come close to all season.

2. All Day turns back the clock with 150 yards rushing

When Bill Callahan was named the interim head coach in Washington, he noted that Adrian Peterson wasn’t getting the ball enough. Thus, you can expect that to change in this game, which just so happens to come against a run defense allowing 175.8 yards per game. Peterson will look rejuvenated against a bad defense and top 150 yards on the ground for the day.

1. Redskins win game, lose race for the tank

As bad as both of these teams have been, Washington simply has more pieces that you can feel confident in. Their defensive front can cause Miami problems and their rushing attack at least has warm bodies, which is all you need to run on the Dolphins.

Subsequently, the Redskins will be the one to pick up their first win of the season — which is just what the Dolphins want in their quest to land Tua.
