Stud: Matt Ryan
Matt Ryan had a solid performance on the offensive end to lead Atlanta and help them battle back into the game in the second half on Sunday in Arizona, throwing for over 350 yards and not turning the ball over in the loss.

In the game, Ryan converted on 30 of his 36 pass attempts to finish with 356 passing and four touchdowns through the air for the Falcons. With a quarterback rating of 80.0, Ryan didn’t throw any interceptions and was sacked just twice in the game.
After starting the year off struggling when it comes to turning the ball over and digging Atlanta into a hole while giving oppositions the ball early in games, Ryan has been improving over the past few weeks and hopefully that will result in the Falcons picking up a win sooner rather than later.
Dud: Matt Bryant
It’s no secret or surprise why Matt Bryant put up a dud performance for Atlanta, his missed extra point in the final minutes of the game on Sunday cost the Falcons the opportunity to tie the contest while also digging Atlanta further into a hole to kick off the 2019 campaign.
On the day, Bryant did manage to finish two-for-two on field goals and went 3-of-4 on extra points, but that lone miss was enough to make a difference in the game and result in the Falcons dropping to 1-5 on the season and 0-4 on the road through six games.
