Los Angeles Chargers (2-4) at Tennessee Titans (2-4)

Sunday, October 20, 4:05PM ET

I know I’m going to regret this decision, because the Los Angeles Chargers have been letting me down all season long. So it’s a good thing my life doesn’t depend on these picks; otherwise, this would likely be the last you’re hearing from me.

Anyways, I’m going with the Chargers in this one. Yes, they’re coming off a loss to a third-string quarterback in which they continued to play like, well, the Chargers. It’s just what they do — they lose games they should easily win. It’s a similar situation against the Tennessee Titans, but I’m hoping they can get their act together before Sunday’s showdown.

Right now, the Titans are in turmoil. They can’t find a reliable option at quarterback, their defense isn’t playing up to its potential, and everything has essentially gone haywire since Week 1. Unfortunately, I don’t see them digging themselves out of this hole in Week 7.

The Chargers come to town, and finally play as good as they appear on paper. It’s not a dominating performance, but it’s enough to get the victory. And in a suddenly wide-open AFC West, any notches in the win column are welcome.

Prediction: Chargers win 23-17
