3. Matt Ryan will extend streak of 300-plus yard games

The first bold prediction for the Atlanta Falcons in Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams is veteran quarterback Matt Ryan will continue to do all he can to help his team to their second win of the season. Through six weeks of action, Ryan has put together a nice start to the year for Atlanta, although his play hasn’t completely translated to the success of the overall team just yet.

More from NFL Spin Zone

So far this season, Ryan has managed to tally 300 or more passing yards through the air in every game for the Falcons. With the exception of the fourth week of the season against the Tennessee Titans, Ryan has also managed to throw for at least two touchdowns in each of those games.

On Sunday in Week 7 against Los Angeles, Ryan will once again throw for over 300 yards to try and propel his team to their second win at home this season, extending that streak of throwing for at least 300 yards or more to seven straight games.

So far this season, Ryan has thrown for a total of 2,011 yards through the air while averaging 7.8 yards per pass attempt and converting on 72.1 percent of his pass attempts for the Falcons.

Although Ryan’s performances have been above average and he has put together a solid stretch to begin the regular season schedule, he is going to need to continue to keep up that pace and continue to put together those types of performances in order to keep Atlanta in games.

Maybe one of these weeks, those efforts put forth by Ryan will result in the Falcons coming out on top at the end of the game. Nonetheless, he will continue to lead the Atlanta offense as it tries to end the Falcons’ current losing streak on Sunday at home.
