29. player. 59. . LB. Miami Dolphins. Dylan Moses

Pick via Texans

For the third time, we have the Miami Dolphins on the clock as they own the Houston Texans selection. This was a pick acquired in the Laremy Tunsil trade, which allowed the Texans to get a proven left tackle during the Miami fire sale — which may not be done just yet. So far, head coach Brian Flores added his quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa and a wideout in Laviska Shenault, Jr. Now, he turns his attention to the defense.

A former linebacker coach, Flores takes a bit of a gamble with Dylan Moses. A prototypical NFL linebacker, Moses won’t play at all in 2019 due to a torn ACL. Even with that being the case, he has the talent to be a first-round pick and is well worth the flier here, especially considering it’s their third pick already.

15. . WR. New Orleans Saints. Tee Higgins. 30. player

Michael Thomas is an absolute monster for the New Orleans Saints and as long as he’s on the field, they can move the ball through the air. However, they would be wise to add some help opposite him as defenses are able to sero in on him and force Drew Brees — or Teddy Bridgewater — to go elsewhere. That becomes much harder to do with a 6-foot-4 target with a massive catch radius on the opposite side of the field.

Higgins recorded 12 touchdowns as a sophomore and has looked even better in 2019. In six games, he has 549 yards and is averaging 22.9 yards per reception. The touchdowns haven’t been there but he’s more of a deep threat this season than he has been in the past.
