IOL. San Francisco 49ers. Creed Humphrey. 31. player. 42.

Kyle Shanahan is an early favorite for NFL Coach of the Year as he turned the San Francisco 49ers into the most dangerous team in the NFC this season. It’s easy to say he’s doing this due to the return of Jimmy Garoppolo — who missed all of 2018 with a torn ACL — but the quarterback isn’t really carrying the team. Instead, Shanahan’s Niners are winning in all facets of the game and have been great on defense, thanks in large part to the plethora of talent added to that unit with early draft picks — especially on the line.

Here, they start to build up the opposite line as Creed Humphrey is their pick at No. 30. The Oklahoma guard is huge at 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds and could contribute right away as a guard for the 49ers. He has great awareness and power and can help keep the pocket clean for Jimmy G while also clearing holes for their stable of running backs.

player. 47. . TE. New England Patriots. Albert Okwuegbunam. 32

There’s been so much talk recently about Rob Gronkowski coming back to the New England Patriots but that feels like wishful thinking. The big tight end was one of the best to ever play the position but injuries really took their toll on him.

He also seems to really be enjoying the post-NFL life and he’s reportedly been brilliant with his money so it’s not as if he’s going to need to return for financial reasons.

With all that being said, the Patriots look to find their next big weapon at tight end as they end this 2020 NFL Mock Draft by picking up Missouri’s Albert Okwuegbunam.

The 6-foot-5, 255-pound Okwuegbunam has 22 career touchdowns for the Tigers and will give Tom Brady another great weapon in the red zone.
