Atlanta Falcons: Studs and duds vs. Rams in Week 7
Stud: Julio Jones
Julio Jones was one of the only bright spots in the game for Atlanta in a blowout loss on its home field, leading all Falcons wide receivers in receptions and receiving yards. Jones finished the game with a total of six catches on a team-high nine targets, hauling in 93 yards with an average of 15.5 yards per catch for Atlanta.

It was encouraging to see Jones having success against a suddenly new-look and impressive Rams secondary, although there wasn’t much to be excited about in totality when it comes to the Falcons on Sunday afternoon.
Dud: Matt Ryan
For the most part this season, Matt Ryan has been able to perform well even when Atlanta doesn’t perform well as a team in general. But against the Rams in Week 7 on Sunday, Ryan had by far his worst game of the 2019 campaign en route to yet another defeat at the hands of an NFC opponent.
The veteran quarterback struggled really for the entire game, being held without a touchdown pass in the game after throwing for at least two touchdowns in every game but one coming into the contest against Los Angeles. Ryan finished the contest completing 16 of his 27 pass attempts while throwing for just 159 yards and one interception. Ryan was also pressured throughout the majority of his time behind center in the game, being sacked a total of five times.
It was certainly a game to forget for Ryan in Week 7, especially after leaving early due to injury. But in reality, the game was one to forget for the entire Falcons team following another blowout loss.
