Defense/Special Teams

Buffalo Bills (vs. MIA, $4,300): The New England Patriots boast the priciest defense this week, but if they can outdo the Kansas City Chiefs’ Thursday night sack parade, the Bills will end the week as the highest-scoring unit. A pricey option, but money well spent.

San Francisco 49ers (at WAS, $4,100): The 49ers defense is averaging 14 points per week, and they should exceed that total this week against a bumbling Washington Redskins offense that can’t get out of its own way.

Green Bay Packers (vs. OAK, $3,400): The Raiders will be without Tyrell Williams, so a leveled-up Packers pass defense should force Derek Carr into at least two turnovers. A home tilt against a suspect pass-blocking unit could yield a sack-fest, as well.

Chicago Bears (vs. NO, $3,000): The Bears defense is statistically much tougher at home, allowing less than 45 yards rushing and only eight points per game when squaring off in Chicago. The squad comes into Saturday’s match-up with a chip on their shoulder after chewing on an embarrassing performance during their bye week. Don’t expect Teddy Bridgewater to work miracles without a hobbled Alvin Kamara on the road against a hungry, top-tier defense.
