5. Buffalo Bills (7)

Divisional games can be tough even when the two teams involved are on the opposite ends of the NFL Power Rankings. That was the case on Sunday as the Buffalo Bills hosted the winless Miami Dolphins. Buffalo ended up getting the win, which makes them 5-1 on the year and gave the Dolphins a mark of 0-6. However, the Bills were actually trailing at the half against the team that’s had just a few minutes of playing time with a lead this season.

Miami was up 14-9 and even took that lead into the fourth quarter. Buffalo ended up turning things around though as they put up 22 points in the final 15 minutes to make sure they weren’t the team that the tanking Dolphins put up a win against.

John Brown got things rolling as he had a 20-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter to put the Bills up 17-14 following a Josh Allen two-point conversion run. They never again trailed as Allen hit Cole Beasley from three-yards out for his first score with the Bills.

Their final points came when the Dolphins tried an onside kick following a touchdown run by Ryan Fitzpatrick. That kick was returned 45 yards by Micah Hyde, ending the game with a final of 31-21. Buffalo is still behind the New England Patriots in the AFC East but they’re the only team in that division that’s any kind of threat at all.
