1. New England Patriots (1) – Play on Monday Night Football vs. Jets

Entering Week 7, the New England Patriots are still undefeated at 6-0. Heading into this one, there’s a lot of talk about just how many wins this team can reel off. Already the only franchise to go undefeated in the 16-game regular season era, the Patriots look as though there are no losses on the schedule this season.

The reason they seem so unbeatable right now is tied to how complete they are. According to NFL.com, they’re the No. 1 scoring team in the league, averaging 31.7 points per game.

They’re also first in the league in points given up on defense with an unbelievable average of just eight points per contest. They’re also first in yards surrendered (234.7), second in pass yards (161.0), and third in rushing yards (73.7).

This comes despite them losing some big-name talent in the offseason. Defensive end Trey Flowers signed a massive contract with the Detroit Lions and Malcom Brown went to the New Orleans Saints. Even with them gone, the defense has continued to thrive.

When that’s the case and you have the best quarterback in the game in Tom Brady, it’s hard to see anyone knocking them off. Perhaps this is the season they go 16-0 and finish the job by winning it all.
