Miami Dolphins (0-6) at Pittsburgh Steelers (2-4)

Monday, October 28, 8:15PM ET

I’m sorry, but I’m going to pick the Miami Dolphins to win until they give me a reason to do so. They’ve embarrassed themselves on the way to a 0-6 start, albeit with a slightly competent performance in Week 7. I still haven’t seen enough to pick them to win in Week 8.

It helps the Pittsburgh Steelers that Mason Rudolph should be under center. While Devlin Hodges led them to win in Week 6, the offense was fairly lethargic. If it wasn’t for James Conner and Benny Snell, the Steelers might very well have failed to put a single point on the board.

With Rudolph back in the driver’s seat, it should be enough to subdue the Dolphins for at least one more week. They own the 30th-ranked defense in the NFL, which doesn’t bode well for their ability to keep Pittsburgh from putting it in the end zone at least a few times. Either way, expect a strong showing from the Steelers.

It may not be enough to completely turn Pittsburgh’s season around, but beating the Dolphins should at least be a midseason confidence booster. More importantly, it’s another opportunity for Miami’s blatant tank job to succeed in painful fashion.

Prediction: Steelers win 23-14
