Denver Broncos (2-5) at Indianapolis Colts (4-2)

Sunday, October 27, 1PM ET

After taking control of the AFC South in Week 7, the Indianapolis Colts will looking to keep the wins coming. A Week 8 matchup with the hapless Denver Broncos should be just the opportunity they need to stay atop the division for at least one more week.

With that said, the Broncos aren’t a pushover. While their offense is lethargic and capable of going cold at the drop of a dime, the Denver defense is worth worrying about. They’re currently ranked fourth in the NFL, and will do everything in their power to keep this one close. Believe me when I say that things won’t come easy for Jacoby Brissett and the Colts offense.

And yet, they’ll still walk away with the W. Why? Because a Joe Flacco-led offense just isn’t going to get the job done against Indy. As we saw last Thursday, the aging veteran isn’t enough anymore, especially when the Denver front five decides to phone it in. There aren’t enough reliable weapons on offense for the Broncos either, which only makes the situation that much worse.

Sure, the Colts won’t be able to run all over this Denver defense. Unfortunately for the Broncos, their offense is going to have even more trouble, potentially failing to find the end zone more than once. It’ll be another lame-duck effort for the Broncos that moves them one step closer to beginning offseason preparations.

Prediction: Colts win 23-10
