8. Thomas catches 10+ passes for fourth time in 2019

Just about all hope seemed lost for the New Orleans Saints back in Week 2 when Drew Brees suffered a thumb injury, but Teddy Bridgewater has done an incredible job filling in for the future Hall of Famer.

At the time of the injury, Saints fans seemed concerned over their team figuring out a way just to win a few games until Brees was healthy enough to return, and would be in serious trouble when it came to the NFC playoff race.

Turns out, New Orleans has won five in a row since Bridgewater took over the starting role to help the Saints make a strong case for being one of the top teams to beat in the NFC.

With the Arizona Cardinals coming to town for Week 8, it looks like the Saints could be in for a sixth win in a row, and this will certainly be easier to pull off if Michael Thomas puts together another strong outing.

No one needs to explain just how effective Thomas is when the football gets in his hands, and watching him catch nine passes against a top defense in the Chicago Bears last weekend shows just how special of a receiver he truly is.

Most likely, Patrick Peterson will make things a little more difficult for Thomas to get the football, but also the intense competition could motivate the Saints star even more to continue coming up big when needed the most.
