20. Barkley goes for 200+ scrimmage yards

For obvious reasons, the New York Giants were beyond thrilled to see Saquon Barkley back in action in Week 7 after missing the last couple of games due to an injury, although it would have been more enjoyable if they actually defeated the Arizona Cardinals.

Still, just the return of Barkley will provide a much needed spark on offense for the Giants moving forward while taking a ton of pressure off Daniel Jones under center as well since the rookie quarterback has struggled for the most part over the last three weeks.

Up next, New York will face another difficult challenge against a Detroit Lions team hungry to earn a win of their own after suffering a third loss in a row during Week 7 to the Minnesota Vikings.

Looking at the Lions’ defense, this will most likely turn into one of those games in which Jones finds himself heavily relying on Barkley, whether it happens to be in the backfield or through the passing game.

One of the main reasons why Barkley is such a threat on the NFL level is his ability to be used in multiple ways, and New York really doesn’t care how the running back produces his yards when facing the Detroit, as long as it puts them in better position to win.
