4. Watson takes advantage of the Raiders

For the second week in a row, the Oakland Raiders will face a quarterback who can kill you in a multitude of ways. In Week 7, Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers went off for five touchdowns. He completed 25 passes on 31 attempts for 429 yards.

If the Raiders think it gets easier in Week 8, think again. Even in a losing effort agasint Indianapolis, Watson was impressive. He completed 23 passes on 34 attempts for 308 yards and one touchdown. Conversely, he also added a pair of interceptions. Watson also rushed for 32 yards on three carries, and therein lies the rub.

For fans who have seen Houston and have seen Watson, he can be very much like Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens. Like Jackson, Watson is a game-changer who on a dime, can undo a defense.

Oakland will have to contain Watson. That is easier said than done, but for the Raiders to have a chance, keeping Watson single-dimensional is the first key to a win in Houston.

Like Week 7 in Green Bay, the Raiders have to keep the quarterback in check. It’s fair to say Rodgers had one of “those days”. They can’t leave Houston saying the same thing about Watson.
