2. Latavius Murray puts up big numbers again

Against the Bears, Latavius Murray had a monster game. In place of Alvin Kamara, Murray proved himself a capable replacement and much more. Finishing the game with two touchdowns, multiple receptions and over 100 yards rushing, Murray was easily the star of the game. Even with Brees possibly coming back, it’s clear that Murray is getting a lot of attention after last week.

With Murray on the rise, there is no reason why Kamara should come back yet. It gives peace of mind to both players as Murray gets a chance to play while Kamara can rest and recuperate comfortably without the team rushing him back.

Heading into Week 8, I predict that Murray will once again have a big game. While I don’t think he’ll put up as huge numbers, I do think that he’ll finish the game with at least 100 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Last week against the Giants, the Cardinals allowed Saquon Barkley a touchdown and 72 rushing yards, so there’s no doubt that Murray will have some room to run. The Giant offensive line isn’t nearly as talented as the Saints O-line, either, so Murray has the potential for another big game. While I don’t think he’ll be nearly as explosive, he’s going to fill up the box score once again.
