LB/S. Las Vegas Raiders. Isaiah Simmons. 17. player. 28.

Pick via Bears

With back-to-back picks in this 2020 NFL Mock Draft, the Oakland Raiders turn their attention to the defensive side of the ball. Linebacker remains a glaring need for this team, as does the need to add difference-makers. Isaiah Simmons might be the most athletic defensive player in the 2020 class and he fits seamlessly into Oakland. He can be moved around but, more importantly, can help add some solidity in the middle of the field for the Raiders defense.

player. 59. . OT. Miami Dolphins. Lucas Niang. 18

Pick via Texans

Three first-round picks, three selections on offense. The Miami Dolphins have to protect their investment in Tua Tagovailoa and the offensive line currently in place isn’t going to do that. As such, they bring in Lucas Niang with the No. 18 pick to help with that. At TCU, Niang has proven to be an athletic, big-bodied player on the edge that should pair nicely with protecting Tagovailoa for the long haul.

54. . CB. Philadelphia Eagles. Bryce Hall. 19. player

The woes of the Philadelphia Eagles secondary have not let up at all throughout this season. It’s a real problem that might well keep a talented team out of the playoffs. It must be addressed and it is in this 2020 NFL Mock Draft with Bryce Hall from Virginia. Though he’s battling injuries currently, Hall checks every box for what an NFL team should be looking for in a cornerback with size, athleticism and tremendous football IQ.

Laviska Shenault Jr.. 20. player. 52. . WR. Jacksonville Jaguars

Pick via Rams

After addressing the hole at cornerback due to trading Jalen Ramsey, the Jaguars now use the pick acquired in that deal to help bolster their offense. Though D.J. Chark looks like a stud in Jacksonville, the wide receiver group as a whole is still lacking in a noticeable way. Adding Laviska Shenault Jr. would provide the Jaguars with a dynamic playmaker that can be used in a variety of ways — a weapon John DeFilippo would love to have.
