5. Zac Taylor

As mentioned in previous weeks, it may seem unfair to put a head coach like Zac Taylor on this list since he’s in the middle of his first season, but also this is the perfect example of just how rough things have been for the Cincinnati Bengals.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Back in the offseason when the Bengals decided to give Taylor a shot, the decision was made with the hope he would bring some of that magic over from the Los Angeles Rams to provide a spark to the offense.

Instead, Cincinnati is coming off another embarrassing loss in London to Los Angeles, and will enter their bye week still winless, which no one expected to see happen at all.

To top it all off, the Bengals announced on Tuesday that Andy Dalton would be benched to give Ryan Finley a chance to prove himself.

In other words, Cincinnati realizes this season is basically a lost cause, and as painful as it is to see this year turn out the way it has so far, moving on from Taylor could be best for all parties.

At the end of the day, some individuals just aren’t meant to be head coaches, and while it was great to give Taylor a chance, this looks like a failure on the end of the Bengals.
