5. Houston Texans

Last weekend’s win over the Oakland Raiders is the perfect example of why the Houston Texans deserve to be on this list since the Jacksonville Jaguars are showing plenty of similarities to Jon Gruden’s squad.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Back at the beginning of September when Nick Foles went down with an injury, the Jaguars seemed like they were heading towards another year of experience, and having to roll with Gardner Minshew didn’t help their case.

But thanks to Minshew proving to have what it takes to be a starting quarterback in the NFL, Jacksonville is still in the mix to compete for a playoff spot at 4-4, and would love nothing more than to defeat their rivals in London to make another statement.

Right away, if the Jaguars are going to have any shot at upsetting the Texans, the defense will need to do whatever it takes to keep Deshaun Watson in check as much as possible since he’s proven on numerous times to make key plays out of nowhere.

The former Clemson star has made a strong case for being one of the top young quarterbacks on the rise over the last few seasons, and Watson realizes the pressure will be on overseas come Sunday morning.
