Wide Receivers: B+

The Packers wide receiver group may not be the flashiest or even the most talented, but they’ve been consistent and reliable over the last four weeks without Davante Adams. It’s been a receiver-by-committee approach by Rodgers and LaFleur in Adams’ absence, thanks to the efforts of Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Geronimo Allison, Jake Kumerow and Allen Lazard.

All of Allison, Kumerow and Lazard are former undrafted free agents, while Valdes-Scantling is a former fifth-round selection. Valdes-Scantling has been the most explosive of the bunch, most notably providing a two-catch performance for a whopping 133 yards and a touchdown against the Oakland Raiders two weeks ago.

The Packers offense has relied on spreading the ball around without Adams, who could return in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Chargers. The four aforementioned receivers have combined for 893 receiving yards and six touchdowns, so the Packers offense is still getting it done without their star receiver.

Once Adams returns, the Packers will have a solidified receiving core that will cause extreme matchup problems for opposing secondaries. Even without Adams the Packers’ receivers garner a B+, which makes this offense even scarier for opposing defenses.
