2. Garrett leads way to 6-sack day for Browns

Like we’ve already said, the Cleveland Browns defense has not been the issue this season. In fact, this is a group that has looked dominant at times, at least against the pass. A big part of that has been their ability to generate pressure, particularly with the likes of Myles Garrett, Olivier Vernon and Sheldon Richardson up front. Throw in their propensity for blitzing and the Browns can get to the quarterback.

That’s bad news for the Broncos in Week 9. This offensive line has been torn to shreds for much of the 2019 season and now they’re playing in front of a quarterback who, you’d have to assume, isn’t ready to get bombarded with pressure. Cleveland will take advantage of that and get after him for 60 minutes, ultimately resulting in a sack-party for the Browns.

1. Browns win by 20+ points

This is a must-win game for the Browns. If they were to lose to the Broncos, they would likely need to go 8-0 over their final eight games to feel confident at having a shot to make the playoffs. A win here, however, and they have a little more leeway. On top of that, this is a matchup that they can take advantage of if they’re able to play like they have their backs against the wall and realize their talent.

I believe that’s exactly what happens on Sunday at Mile High. All of the pieces from Mayfield to Garrett to Chubb to Jarvis Landry to Odell Beckham Jr. will start to fall into place and the Browns will look like as close to the team we’ve thought they could be as we’ve seen this year. Against this bad Broncos team with a backup quarterback, that will result in a resounding victory for Cleveland.
