Stud: Joey Bosa

The sack master was back at it again. Fresh off winning AFC Defensive Player of the week, Joey Bosa clearly had no intention of slowing down in Week 9. Combining for four tackles along with a sack and a half, Bosa simply never let Rodgers have his way all throughout the game.

Bosa’s ability to move past the Packer’s offensive line allowed him to not only tackle Rodgers on multiple occasions but forced him to throw under pressure, resulting in several incomplete passes.

Now healthy, Bosa is in the midst of realizing his full potential as one of the league’s best pass rushers, doing so at the expense of NFL offensive success throughout the rest of the league.

Stud: Melvin Ingram

Alongside Bosa, Melvin Ingram served as part of the two-man punch that constantly penetrated the Packers offensive line. Finishing with three combined tackles and 1.5 sacks, it seems as though Ingram is back to doing what he does best: rushing the quaterback alongside Joey Bosa.

Interestingly enough, Ingram and Bosa sacked Rodgers together on one play.

This effort was exactly what the Chargers needed as they are still in the midst of cleaning up their act and fixing lingering issues on offense. As shown in this game, Ingram — along with the rest of the Chargers defense — continues to give the Chargers offense opportunities to score points.
