11. Philadelphia Eagles (10)

Things were looking ugly for the Philadelphia Eagles just a couple of weeks ago when they had back-to-back losses and fell to 3-4. On the road against the Minnesota Vikings, they were dealt a 38-20 loss. They followed that up with another loss on the road as the Dallas Cowboys made it look easy in a 37-10 win.

With some people tapping out on them, the Eagles got it back together the past two weeks. First, they beat the Buffalo Bills in a one-sided affair by a score of 31-13. Then they had the Chicago Bears come to town in Week 9 and again made it look easy. Their defense was on fire, holding Chicago to just nine yards in the first half — and zero points.

The 22-14 final score ended up looking closer than it was as the Bears pulled within five after a pair of David Montgomery touchdowns but it never really felt as though the Eagles were going to end up losing this one.

They now head into the bye week, which comes at a good time. They’re right in the mix for the NFC East title and have a matchup with the New England Patriots on Nov. 17. The extra time will be great for them as they play the defending Super Bowl champions — who they happened to beat for their only Lombardi Trophy following the 2017 season. That should be a fun rematch to tune in to.
