NFL Power Rankings, Week 10: Ravens upend Patriots, Browns implode completely

9. Minnesota Vikings (5)
A missed opportunity for the Minnesota Vikings came this weekend as they were unable to score a road victory over the Kansas City Chiefs who were without their best player. 2018 NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes was a game-time decision and ended up missing the game with a knee injury.
Of course, they have a decent backup in Matt Moore but that’s still a step down from the man who threw 50 touchdowns last season. That meant Minnesota had a chance to move to 7-2 but they ended up coming up just short as the defense allowed Kansas City to come back from a 23-20 deficit in the final quarter.
After giving up the tying score with 2:30 left to play, the Vikings went three-and-out and had to punt the ball back to the Chiefs — and it was a rough punt that went just 27 yards and allowed the Chiefs to kick a game-winning field goal despite moving it just 19 yards on their final possession.
Minnesota is still in great shape for the playoffs and could fight for the NFC North crown as well. They’ve done an excellent job bouncing back from a slow start but they sure could have used this one, especially considering the fact they were facing a backup quarterback.
