Before the Atlanta Falcons take on the New Orleans Saints on Sunday in Week 10, here are three bold predictions for the Falcons heading into the contest.

After a week off on their bye, the Atlanta Falcons will return to action in Week 10 on Sunday afternoon. The Falcons, who have struggled mightily at the midway point in the regular-season schedule, will be faced with a tough test on the road right out of the gate as they begin the second portion of the year following a full week off.

Atlanta will head to New Orleans to take on the Saints in an NFC South showdown between the two squads at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The showdown between the two teams is really a tale of two completely different seasons up to this point in the year, with the Falcons and Saints heading in exact opposite directions entering the Week 10 contest in New Orleans.

Atlanta comes into the game at 1-7 overall so far this season, currently riding a six-game losing streak as they face another tough opponent away from home. The Falcons currently sit at the bottom of the NFC South standings behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-6 overall), Carolina Panthers (5-3) and Saints (7-1) in the division.

So far this season, the Falcons are 0-4 on the road through nine games, still looking for their first win away from home on the year.

New Orleans enters the contest on Sunday afternoon in New Orleans at 7-1 overall, sitting atop the NFC South standings ahead of Tampa Bay, Carolina and Atlanta. The Saints, who are a perfect 4-0 at home so far this season, are riding a six-game winning streak ahead of the game.
