Minnesota Vikings (6-3) at Dallas Cowboys (5-3)

Sunday, November 10, 8:20PM ET

It’s been an up-and-down season for both of these squads. Both have enjoyed win streaks, and suffered losing streaks. Unfortunately for one of them, another losing streak is about to start. Yes, I’m referring to the Minnesota Vikings.

History would seem to indicate that Kirk Cousins simply can’t keep his run of exceptional games going. Especially against a Dallas Cowboys team with a top defense in a primetime setting, it seems unlikely that we’ll see the Cousins that won the NFC Player of the Month award for October. It’s a bummer, but we knew a decline was inevitable, right?

Furthermore, the Minnesota defense hasn’t been as reliable as it has in recent years. Xavier Rhodes is no longer a shutdown cornerback, which bodes well for Amari Cooper. Even if the Vikings can find a way to contain Dak Prescott and the Dallas passing game, they’ll likely struggle to corral Ezekiel Elliott as well.

Trust me, I wanted to pick the Vikings in this one. However, after seeing how they ran over the Giants on Monday night, I just don’t see that happening this upcoming Sunday night. It’ll be close, but the Cowboys will take the lead late in the fourth and refuse to relinquish it.

Prediction: Cowboys win 30-27
