Detroit Lions (3-4-1) at Chicago Bears (3-5)

Sunday, November 10, 1PM ET

So far this season, the Detroit Lions haven’t had the best of luck. Despite a strong start to the 2019 campaign, they’ve now dropped four of their last five. In a matter of weeks, they went from a surprise playoff hopeful to a postseason longshot.

Can they turn it around against the Chicago Bears? A win wouldn’t necessarily put them back in the hunt all on its own, but it would be a start. Luckily for the Lions, their NFC North foes have had a similarly awful time over the last couple of weeks. In fact, they’ve been one of the worst teams in the NFL since Mitchell Trubisky returned from injury.

The offense is broken. In the first half of Week 9’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, the Bears managed a whole nine yards. In one half! Despite having plenty of capable weapons, they can’t seem to get anything going. As a result, they’re now last in one of the league’s toughest divisions. The Lions have been far more impressive as of late, which doesn’t bode well for their Week 10 outlook.

The Bears will probably muster more offense against Detroit, simply because the Lions’ defense hasn’t been superb. And yet, it still likely won’t be enough against Matthew Stafford and his cohort of playmaking pass catchers. Look for the Lions to come away with a much-needed victory on the road.

Prediction: Lions win 33-24
