Atlanta Falcons (1-7) at New Orleans Saints (7-1)

Sunday, November 10, 1PM ET

I’m sorry, but I just can’t see any way the Atlanta Falcons come away with the victory in this one. They’ve been downright awful this season, while their NFC South counterparts have been one of the most impressive squads in the NFL. Sorry Atlanta fans, but it’s not going to happen.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this was nearly out of hand by halftime. These two teams have been nearly complete opposites of each other this year — the Falcons have been lethargic and slow to get started, while the Saints have been efficient, consistent and deadly on both sides of the ball.

That should lead to a lopsided battle on Sunday. We should plenty of dazzling passing from Drew Brees, some big plays by Michael Thomas and a couple of turnovers created by the New Orleans defense. On the other side, we’ll just be hoping the Falcons can keep things interesting, even with Matt Ryan expected to be back in the mix.

It’s been a rough year for Atlanta, and it doesn’t figure to get any easier in Week 10. Even if they can manage to keep pace with the Saints early, I don’t imagine them doing enough offensively to stay in striking distance in the second half. New Orleans keeps rolling with another win.

Prediction: Saints win 27-13
