With the New England Patriots entering their bye week in Week 10, here are three observations from the season for the defending Super Bowl Champions.

As the schedule enters Week 10 of the 2019 NFL season, the New England Patriots still remain as one of the top teams in the league through nine contests. With the Patriots entering their bye, the defending Super Bowl Champions have returned to their dominant form that we saw out of them en route to winning the Lombardi Trophy last year.

Through nine weeks of action, New England enters its week off at 8-1 overall, starting the season off by winning eight straight games while falling for the first time this season in Week 9 against the Baltimore Ravens on the road.

Through nine contests thus far in the year, New England has been a dominant force in really every aspect of the game. It has displayed its always-stellar offensive firepower, while establishing a dominant defensive unit along with overpowering opponents in special teams play as well. That recipe has been extremely successful.

The Patriots will look to rest up and get everyone back to being fully healthy before they try to regroup and get back in the win column in Week 11 while beginning to try and gain steam in the second half of the regular season to try and make yet another deep run in the postseason at the end of the year.

While New England takes the week off with the rest of the NFL taking part in the Week 10 slate of game this weekend, let’s look back at the season up to this point for the Patriots and dive into three observations as they head into the bye week.
