2. Randall Cobb, WR
When Dallas let slot receiver Cole Beasley leave in free agency, many fans were upset. This was understandable as the former SMU star worked his way from undrafted free agent to fan favorite. But the reality is, Beasley didn’t want the one-year deal Dallas wanted to give out to the position.

Because of that, he left and joined the Buffalo Bills. He’s playing well for them, but with less than 10-yards per catch, there’s a question as to whether or not he was worth the deal he signed that paid him roughly $7 million per season.
For Dallas, that was too much and they instead with Randall Cobb. The former Green Bay Packers receiver came in for one-year at $5 million and is not only more explosive than Beasley, but he’s also a year younger.
There are concerns with him when it comes to injuries, and Cobb did miss one game already. However, when he’s on the field there’s no denying he has a great rapport with Dak Prescott.
After seven games, the veteran has 274 yards on 25 receptions with a touchdown. He’s also had some bad luck as he had two touchdowns wiped out by penalty, including a 74-yarder against Miami.
In addition to his play as a receiver, Cobb is capable of helping out on punt returns. His versatility and the relationship he has with Prescott have been huge and he should be on this team again next season.
