1. Robert Quinn, DE

Last, but clearly not least, we have defensive end Robert Quinn. The tanking Miami Dolphins decided to unload all their star players and Dallas was fortunate enough to get Quinn in exchange for a late-round pick. They also received some salary relief as the Dolphins still owe him some money this season.

Quinn’s time with the Cowboys got off to a bad start as he broke his hand in training camp. He then received a two-game suspension for a questionable violation of the substance abuse policy. He was able to shake all that off after sitting out the first two games and has been the most productive pass rusher for Dallas so far in 2019.

In his first game of the season, he had three tackles and a sack against his old team. He added two more against the New York Jets in Week 4 and has continued to have a hot hand. In just six games, Quinn has 13 tackles and 6.5 sacks — which matches his season total from 2018.

With him lined up on the opposite side as DeMarcus Lawrence, the Dallas defense boasts one of the best edge-rushing duos in the entire league. If they want to continue to be a great defense, they need to make sure that remains the case next season.

As it stands now, there’s no one on the roster ready to take his place and we all have seen how much they struggle to find such players in the draft.
