Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4) at Cleveland Browns (3-6)

Thursday, November 14, 8:20PM ET

Even without Ben Roethlisberger, this Pittsburgh Steelers squad has turned out to be pretty good. All of their losses have come against likely playoff teams, and they’ve rattled off four straight wins. Against a underwhelming Cleveland Browns club, a win seems likely.

More from NFL Spin Zone

As is always the case in AFC North showdowns, though, we can’t take anything for granted. The Browns are coming off a quality win against the Buffalo Bills, and will be desperately hoping to get back on track after a disappointing first half of the season. And yet, based on how they’ve played through nine games, I don’t have much confidence in their odds of achieving victory.

More than likely, we’ll see another dud from the Cleveland offense. Baker Mayfield’s sophomore slump with drag on against an exceptional Pittsburgh defense, as they force a couple of key turnovers. Maybe another pick-six from Minkah Fitzpatrick?

This should be an exciting matchups between two teams that love to beat each other up. Expect plenty of big hits from the Steelers defense, and Cleveland putting plenty of pressure on Mason Rudolph. In the end, I’m looking for a dominant final drive from Pittsburgh to secure the W.

Prediction: Steelers win 20-18
