Atlanta Falcons (2-7) at Carolina Panthers (5-4)

Sunday, November 17, 1PM ET

Regardless of what you saw in Week 10, the Atlanta Falcons aren’t suddenly going to start playing spoiler on a weekly basis. They may have knocked off the unsuspecting New Orleans Saints, but the Carolina Panthers will have far better luck in Week 11.

At least, that’s what I’m predicting will happen on Sunday. Considering how terribly last week went, anything is possible when it comes to my NFL picks. Despite that, I have confidence that the Panthers can pull off the win at home against an Atlanta squad that has floundered through much of the 2019 season.

I just can’t see the Falcons’ defective defense slowing down Kyle Allen and Christian McCaffrey. Even when the young gunslinger can’t get things going through the air, the MVP candidate finds a way to light a fire under this Carolina offense. You can’t really say the same about anyone on the Atlanta offense at this moment.

It’s always interesting to see how these late-season divisional matchups play out. In Week 11, though, it seems pretty straightforward — the Panthers have the edge. Between McCaffrey and the Carolina defense, they should be able to take a W home on Sunday.

Prediction: Panthers win 28-23
