6. Arizona Cardinals

One year after using a first-round pick on Josh Rosen, the Arizona Cardinals decided to take a risk by going with a different quarterback in the 2019 draft after selecting Kyler Murray with the top overall pick.

At the time, the Cardinals took a little bit of heat since the previous pick on Rosen looked like a complete waste, but when seeing how things with Murray are playing out, it all seems worth it for Arizona.

Murray’s first year in the NFL was supposed to be a rebuilding season, and while the rookie has been going through some of the usual growing pains, the potential on display for the future should have Cardinals fans excited over what’s to come.

By earning experience right away as a rookie, Murray should be working his way into the discussion of being a top quarterback in no time, but Arizona also knows that patience will be key.

As for the backup situation, should the Cardinals really feel all that confident in Brett Hundley being the right answer if something were to happen to Murray?

Sadly, Hundley has received numerous opportunities over the years to prove himself worthy, and most football fans will say the UCLA product seems like too much of a risk.
