3. Kamara finally has a big game

Moving to the other side of the ball, there is one name that didn’t get said nearly enough last week and that was Alvin Kamara. In his return from injury, Kamara had a less-than-stellar game against the Falcons. He finished the game with only four rushing attempts for 24 yards along with eight receptions for 50 yards which weren’t bad. As the team’s lead back though, it was disappointing.

Heading into Week 11, I predict that Kamara will right the ship. This week, he needs to get back on track and hopefully, put up similar numbers as he did against the Bucs in October. He finished that game with 62 rushing yards and six receptions for 42 yards. While he didn’t have a touchdown in that game, I do think that he’ll finally find the endzone this week after not seeing it since Week 3.

Overall, 2019 has been a slight bummer for Kamara. Regardless, there is still a lot of the season left so he has a chance to redeem himself. Even though he hasn’t put as large of numbers as he did last season, Kamara is still one of the best players on the Saints offense.

While it might not seem like it now, a fresh start against the Buccaneers might be exactly what he needs. Even if he can put up similar stats to their last meeting, it will a major improvement from last week.
