4. Saints sack Winston multiple times…again

As noted in the last slide, the New Orleans Saints truly had a field day with the Bucs in their last meeting. Most notably, they got in Jameis Winston’s face and sacked him multiple times. In that game, there were multiple guys who sacked him including Sheldon Rankins, Malcolm Brown, Marcus Davenport and Cameron Jordan. Those are just some of the guys, not all of them so Winston really took a beating.

Looking ahead to Week 11, I predict the Saint’s defense will have another huge day for sacks against the Buccaneers. All of the guys mentioned above are big guys so when they hit you, you really go down.

Winston isn’t a small guy either, but getting hit by them is no doubt going to leave a mark or be hurting you later. While I don’t think the team will put as large numbers, I do think that at least some of the guys mentioned above will make sure that Winston knows they’re there.

The two names that stick out most are Jordan and Rankins as they’re two of the team’s biggest secret weapons. They’ve been downplayed by others for most of their careers but no longer. Just this season alone, Jordan has eight tackles while Rankins only has one which he picked up against the Bucs.

That’s not even mentioning that second-year player, Marcus Davenport, notched two sacks against the Bucs as well. Overall, this is going to be a good “comeback” game for the defense who allowed the 26 points last week.
