4. CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma

Marquise Brown was selected with the 25th pick in last year’s NFL Draft and he has proven to be a huge help to Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens offense. However, he wasn’t the best wide receiver at Oklahoma when he left Norman — that was CeeDee Lamb, who is set to enter the league in 2020.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Lamb isn’t the speed demon that Brown was, but he is a good athlete in his own right. The wide receiver is a refined route runner and an overall talented pass-catcher. Lamb is only 190 pounds but he plays much stronger than he looks and knows how to use his hands to keep his body clean from defensive backs.

Lamb is not a Combine warrior and won’t turn in freaky fast 40-yard dash times. However, he has better technical skills as a wide receiver than his former teammate. Lamb knows how to work back to the ball, knows how to set up defensive backs in man coverage and just is an outstanding, versatile wide receiver.

The only thing that scouts might be worried about with Lamb is the number of free releases that were schemed up for him in the Sooners offense. Even with that, there is no reason he shouldn’t be a top-10 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Lamb is such a refined receiver both before and after the catch that he will be a tremendous help to any NFL offense he joins.
