After the New England Patriots completed a comeback victory in Week 11 on the road, here are three studs and duds from the win for the Patriots.

The New England Patriots came into Week 11 in somewhat unfamiliar territory for the first time all year long. The Patriots came into a fresh week off their bye on the road on Sunday while looking to bounce back after falling for the first time this season a little over a week ago against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9, also on the road.

With a little over a week off from action coming into Week 11, the defending Super Bowl Champions were immediately tested with a tough matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on the road in Philadelphia.

After falling behind in the game early on away from home, the Patriots were able to bounce back and make things interesting in the second half of play to come back and take the matchup on the road 17-10.

In the first half on Sunday evening between New England and Philadelphia, the Eagles jumped out to a lead at home to handle the momentum early on in Philadelphia.

While holding a 3-0 advantage after one quarter, the Eagles ended up getting out to a 10-0 lead in the second quarter but allowed the Patriots to battle back into things with nine points in the second frame to bring the contest to 10-9 going into halftime.

In the second half, it was basically all New England the rest of the way while it was able to complete a comeback and grab the lead in the final two quarters of the contest. The Patriots outscored the Eagles 8-0 in the third quarter to hold a 17-10 advantage going into the fourth quarter on the road.

In the final frame, Philadelphia had a chance with under two minutes remaining to try and tie the game up or even take the lead late, but New England was able to hold it without a score to grab the road win.

With the victory, the Patriots bounced back into the win column to improve to 9-1 overall on the season. New England remains out in front of the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins in the AFC East standings.

New England will get back to action in Week 12 of the regular season next weekend when it plays host to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday evening at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. The Patriots still hold an undefeated record when playing at home so far in the 2019 campaign.

With the Patriots coming away with a comeback victory on the road in Week 11, let’s go back and look at three studs and duds for New England en route to its ninth win this season.
