Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. CB. player. Mississippi State. Cameron Dantzler. 3. 893

Buffalo boasts an impressive defense with Tre’Davious white being their biggest star. The former LSU cornerback is able to go one on one with any receiver in the NFL. However, they don’t have a great second option. They did find a capable player in Levi Wallace, an undrafted free agent from Alabama in 2018 but they could stand to upgrade the position.

This leads to the selection of Cameron Dantzler from Mississippi State. There may be concerns over his slim build, but the length is impressive. He has impressive ball skills, picking off five passes in his career and is able to get his arms in to make catches difficult for his opponent.

He’s not a finished product but he has a lot of the tools necessary to develop into a quality starter.

Oregon. Jake Hanson. player. Scouting Report. 820. Pick Analysis. IOL. 4

The offensive line has held up well this season with Dion Dawkins coming into his own as the left tackle. Cody Ford has had some growing pains at right tackle but there’s no reason to think the second-round pick from Oklahoma won’t turn into a good pro.

As for the interior of their line, they’ve had some problems. They could look to address this spot earlier but the fact that Josh Allen is more mobile than other quarterbacks, they address some other needs before using a fourth-round pick on Jake Hanson.

The Oregon product is mobile himself and can be used in space to help free up their running backs in the second level. He needs to work on finding some consistency but there’s plenty about his game to like as the Bills add some much-needed depth and competition inside.
