2. Bosa, Jones each get two sacks

The Chiefs got good news this week as their offensive line, particularly starting left tackle Eric Fisher, is set to return to action this week against the Chargers. That’s something that LA can relate to as Russell Okung returned to the field a few weeks ago and his re-insertion back into the lineup really helped to spark the offense and get them into a rhythm.

While that may be true, though, the Chargers and Chiefs both boast some elite pass rushers. For Los Angeles, the duo of Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram on the edge make for a fierce duo, though the former has been having a better statistical season. Kansas City, on the other hand, has Frank Clark on the edge but also has a strong interior presence in Chris Jones.

Okung has undeniably helped the Chargers offensive line look better than they were playing earlier in the year. However, the interior of the line can still be problematic at times. Subsequently, the Chiefs are going to unleash Jones on a big way to try and get after Rivers and the passing game whenever they can. He’ll find his mark at least twice.

But I’m also making the same prediction for Bosa. Though he won’t get as favorable of a matchup now that Fisher is back in the lineup and with Mitchell Schwartz on the opposite side, Bosa has proven that he can handle anyone when getting after the quarterback and will take Mahomes to the turf at least twice as well in Mexico City.
